Role expectations:


  • Provide the highest level of personal care and attention to residents, following individual care plans carefully and ensuring that all contact is polite, friendly, warm, and supportive.
  • Participate in the formulation and maintenance of individual care plans for each resident and administer medication to residents as prescribed, accurately maintaining appropriate records for both.
  • Provide leadership to the care staff.
  • Ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of the service and supervise staff you support.
  • Ensure the health and wellbeing of all staff working within the home.
  • Develop effective working relationships with other employees.
  • Work in cooperation with members of the multidisciplinary.
  • To liaise with other care professionals relating to the care needs of the residents.
  • Maintain skills at a current level, and undertake training and development as may and when required.
  • Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.
