The role

As an Engineering Senior Specialist, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary where you'll have a unique opportunity to gain multiple experience in operations in maintenance of a complex submarine systems.

Day to day, you'll assist the Engineering Manager in the management of the Engineering capability to meet the through life operation, maintenance and repairs.

Key responsibilities include:
Leadership and management of the Engineering team.
Lead the Engineering team on the deployment of the engineering capability.
Implementation of the Company Safety, Quality and Environmental policies for the engineering capability ensuring that assessments of risks are carried out which lead to safe working attitudes and practices.
Develop the engineering capability procedures and processes
Act as an Authorised Person Mechanical (JSP 375 Volume 3 Chapter 4)

Essential experience of the Engineering Senior Specialist

Competent and experienced in complex diving/hyperbaric chambers maintenance and capability procedures
Competent and experienced with maintenance procedures and regulatory responsibilities of High-Pressure Air System
Competent and experienced with high pressure oxygen systems
Knowledge and implantation of Safe Systems of Work in relation to high pressure systems
Experience in 1st line management/Team leader

There is flexibility to work from home at the hiring managers discretion.

Qualifications for the Engineering Senior Specialist

HNC in Engineering or equivalent
ILM Level 3 or equivalent
