Description
A global private equity fund is looking to appoint appoint a fund controller into a newly created position in its private credit team based in London.
The position is newly created as a result of the exponential growth the credit side of the business is experiencing and will report directly to an experienced head of finance.
Key areas of responsibility include:
Management of the external fund administrations ensuring NAV and investor reporting is timely and accurate across all of the private credit funds
Taking a lead on investment monitoring and analysis for the credit business
Taking ownership of cash management across the credit portfolio
Taking a proactive approach towards building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Acting as a key point of contact between various internal and external service providers
Ad hoc investor requests
Supporting with strategic projects and wider process improvement initiatives
Requirements include:
Qualified accountant (ACA/CA/CIMA/ACCA) or equivalent
Circa 1-2 years of post qualified experience working with credit funds in a fund finance & accounting or portfolio monitoring type role.
Experience using Investran would be useful but not essentialCulture is a huge selling point and the business offers opportunity to travel as well as plenty of flexibility.
Compensation is around the £70-75,000 mark with a discretionary bonus and wider benefits package.
