Are you seeking a mostly remote role, working for a well know global charity?

Working with an international animal charity this is an ASAP need for a Governance and Legal Officer, on a 6 month contract basis, the requirement is that you can attend the London Head Office a minimum of 1-2 days in a 6 month period, or more if wish, the rest of the committee meetings are hosted virtually.

Reporting to the Director of Governance and Legal Services to maintain the governance structures, practices, and processes to coordinate governance activities and to coordinate legal advice for the international office.

For this Governance and Legal Officer role you will have previous experience working in a complex organisation preferable and broadly in the NFP sector including charity, public sector and education, working and supporting in a high level secretary capacity to work with the board and committees, including agenda setting, meeting management and high level administration, for this you will require high attention to detail and excellent organisation and comfortable to work with senior management teams, alongside the governance administration you will ideally have a basic knowledge of legal contracts and assist with legal administration.
