Cheshire West and Chester Council offers a dynamic and innovative Library Service with a network of 22 libraries, a mobile library service and a range of 24-hour online services.

We currently have an exciting opportunity at Weaverham Library for a Senior Customer Services Representative. We are seeking an individual with excellent customer service, communication, and leadership skills.

You will be responsible for leading the team at Weaverham Library, developing positive working relationships, and managing the building on a day-to-day basis.

You will also have responsibility for all administrative procedures in the library relating to finance, stock, and systems to ensure that an efficient and effective library and information service is provided to the public.

This is a 34.5 hour per week permanent position.

The contractual work location for this role is Weaverham Library.

However, you may be required to work at a range of work locations or sites within the Borough and may also be required to work from home, depending on the needs of the service.
