Nigel Wright are delighted to support our client, a global academic network that focuses on the advance research and treatment of patients with neuromuscular disorders in the recruitment of a Partnerships and Engagement Manager

Role

This is fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation as they continue to explore new opportunities which will benefit patients around the world.

The Partnership and Engagement Manager will oversee the entire commercial process working closely with the CEO and Senior Team to respond to incoming enquiries, source new opportunities via; current clients, conferences, LinkedIn, symposiums, your network,and following up marketing activity.

The post holder will be responsible for forming & developing long lasting business relationships, sellingservices to range of clients from SMEs to Big Pharma, promoting the different types of services available as wellas preparing and presenting proposals and following-up and negotiating contracts.


Experience

  • Understanding of the healthcare and/or pharmaceutical industry marketplace and current trends would be an advantage
  • Proven experience of business development and generating new leads, ideally in a professional environment
  • Strong commercial awareness and financial planning skills
  • Knowledge of contracts, intellectual property and other commercial considerations
  • Proven influencing and negotiation skills across a diverse range of stakeholders and situations
  • Excellent IT and presentation skills across the MS Office Suite
  • Selfstarting, entrepreneurial, inquisitive and resilient
  • Thorough with high levels of attention to detail
  • Collaborative, proactive and committed to diversity and inclusion
  • Familiar with CRM systems, data collection / analysis and generation of reports

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience commercializing data and technology from academia and comfort working with academic institutions
  • Ability to work with both public and private sector client base
  • Use of project management software/project management methodologies
  • Existing contacts within pharma / biotech
