About Us

JMG Group is a Private Equity backed insurance broking group based in Guiseley, West Yorkshire with regional office representation around the UK.

We are a top 50 broker growing rapidly having completed 5 acquisitions and doubled in size since we completed our MBO in November 2020, backed by Synova PE.

We place over £200m of Gross Written Premium into the market annually and our teams are well respected by the market.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

Daily bank account reconciliation on multiple broking systems
Cash posting/allocation and query resolution
Client refund processing and approvals
Insurer payment processing and approvals
Supporting brokers with day to day client receipts/refunds queries
Build and manage relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
Assist with preparation of various monthly reports.
Assist with month end closure (including Client Money calculations).
Assist Client Money Manager with day to day tasks on adhoc basis.

Key attributes:

Data driven and numerate.
Excellent communication skills.
Organised and able to manage own workload to meet deadlines.
Can do attitude and team player.
Strong Excel skills.
Previous experience in Operational finance is desirable.
Insurance industry and regulated environment experience advantageous, but not essential.

Any broking systems experience of Acturis, SSP & TAM would be a distinct advantage. However, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn goes a long way

Salary:
£22,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
