We are now looking for a talented and motivated Accounts Assistant to support the Accounts team, in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Job purpose:
To assist in the day to day running of the Accounts department, to help maintain an efficient and accurate finance function within the business.
Duties include:
- Weekly BACS preparation allocation of payments in Sage/upload payments to bank & send remittances
- Produce weekly supplier selfbills
- Daily purchase ledger uploading to Lightyear, sending out for authorisation & importing to Sage
- Bank reconciliations across x4 companies
- Credit card
- Precision Pay & commercials card (using Xero)
- POA report ensuring all credit balances are matched off month end
- Supplier statement reconciliations weekly/monthly & ensuring a full ledger reconciliation quarterly
- Occasional invoicing
- Petty cash recording/posted to Sage
- Call handling
- Franking post
- Daily bank posting/post cheques for week (ensure all items on month end bank rec are posted)
- At least
1 years' experience in a similar role - Preferably working towards
AAT (study support provided) - Strong knowledge of
SAGE is essential: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced IT skills, including Word and Excel
- Strong customer service skills
- Good teamwork skills
