    Job Description

    Your new role will involve;

    Our Water Engineering team in Scotland is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our expanding office in Glasgow.

    The team is engaged in a variety of water programs and projects with major UK water companies and international clients.

    This position offers a great opportunity to advance your career as a technical expert working on diverse projects that address both current and future challenges.


    Key responsibilities of this role include:
    • Mechanical Design: Handling the design and review of mechanical components in water infrastructure projects from start to finish.
    • Quality: Producing and reviewing client deliverables to meet relevant standards.
    • Project Management: Assisting in bid preparation and management.
    • Mentorship: Guiding and overseeing the work of team members.

    You will collaborate closely with engineers from various disciplines to deliver a range of projects from concept to detailed design.

    Qualifications

    Requirements include;
    BEng or MEng in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
    Chartered (or near Chartered) Member of a relevant Professional Institution.
    Experience in water and wastewater engineering design with multidisciplinary knowledge.
    Project management experience with a focus on delegation and mentorship.
