Simpson Judge have just been given the opportunity to recruit for this perm-based role with immediate effect. Our client needs someone to support a busy function and work in the office daily.

Reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager this is a heavily involved role and required an ambitious individual to step in and join the business.


About the role:


Working within a busy Accounts Payable Team, the role will be investigating and dealing with invoicing queries, such as price and quantity discrepancies.

Ensuring all queries are resolved promptly and effectively and payments are made to suppliers when due. Carry out statement recompilations for all vendors that have been assigned to you. Assisting in the preparation of the scheduled payment runs, to ensure only valid transactions are paid. Liaising with key stakeholders within the business and communicating issues/feedback to suppliers.


The individual needs to possess:

  • Experience of working within a busy Accounts Payable function
  • Experience of dealing with high volume queries
  • Experience of 3 way matching
  • Excellent problemsolving skills
  • Must have attention to deal
  • Ability to use own initiative and work with limited supervision
  • Must have strong communication skills

You receive in return:
37.5 hours, Monday - Friday with 30 mins lunch
Can wfh up to 2 days per week
