Job Title:
Part-Time Male Teaching Assistant

Position Type:
Part-Time, Long-Term

Location:
Sefton

Schedule:
Thursdays and Fridays

Responsibilities:

Provide personalised support to a male student with additional needs.
Assist the student in staying focused and engaged with their learning tasks.
Accompany the student during movement breaks, ensuring they are conducted safely and effectively.
Help the student regulate their focus through appropriate breaks and activities.
Collaborate with the classroom teacher to implement strategies that support the student's learning and development.
Maintain open communication with the school staff and parents/guardians regarding the student's progress and any concerns that may arise.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with individuals with additional needs preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with students.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting the wellbeing and development of the student.
Ability to adapt and respond to the individual needs of the student.
Availability to work Thursdays and Fridays consistently.
