Would you like to inspire and encourage young people, to achieve their full potential?

This could be the role for you supporting pupils in a SEND school between the ages of 5 and 16 years

Starting as soon as possible, this role will be long-term offering the opportunity of moving on to a permanent contract with the school down the line.

As a Teaching and Learning Support Assistant in a specialist school, no two days are the same and you expect to undertake the following duties day-to-day:

Prepare activities and learning materials under the supervision of the teacher.
Work inside or outside the classroom with individuals or small groups.
Adapt the level of support given, according to the needs your pupils.
Look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare. Reporting any concerns to the designated safeguarding lead.
Support the class teacher, to create a stimulating environment for students with social, emotional and mental health needs.

Hours of work are 8.30am until 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Though, if you are looking for a part-time role we can consider this as long as you can work full days (8.30am to 3.30pm).
