Working within the Procurement and Logistics Department, the role of the Warehouse Technician is a front-line worker within our warehouse facility.
Reporting to the Warehouse and Logistics Manager, the role involves carrying out a wide array of tasks relative to the process of receiving, storing, picking, testing/calibrating, and arranging collection/delivery of goods.
This hands-on role also requires stock deliveries to forward storage facilities, Radio sites which the company operates around the country, and to partners.
Testing, configuration and labelling for technical infrastructure equipment, such as radios or network switches;Pre-assembly of various items required as instructed by others;
Signing for packages and recording inventory as received into computer systems or trackers;
Providing pick sheets and inventory detail for projects and ensure that shipments are prepared in time for project builds;
Tracking inventory, from shelf to site and for updating the computer system so that the Business can assign costs appropriately;
Organising stock products on shelves or on pallets to allow for easier inventory checks and shipment pulls;
Testing and calibration of engineers Tools and Equipment (for e.g. Testing and categorisation of non-conforming products and following relevant RMA processes;
Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts as directed;
Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing H&S standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations;
Abiding by the Compliance Policies and Procedures of the Company;
Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies;
