The Position:


We are recruiting for a Graduate to join our Compliance function to support the Complaints Team in being the central point of contact for Arch Insurance International - Europe with regards to the recording, tracking, handling, and reporting of Complaints received by Arch during the normal course of business.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Logging new UKR and Coverholder reported complaints on to Respond CMS
  • Check for accuracy and submit Lloyd's notification spreadsheet as and when necessary
  • Daily review of the workload on Respond CMS. Chase complaint handlers and Coverholders where the regulatory deadline is near due
  • Ensure the Respond Change Request document is maintained and up to date
  • Prepare complaint files for FOS and Lloyds and send in the agreed regulator format.
  • Gather relevant SRC and Stage 1 complaint files from Coverholders/DCAs, check and submit to Lloyds as per their sample checking requirements
  • Assist the Complaints Manager with the production of Conduct MI data. Updating and maintaining dashboards
  • Support the embedding of an effective root cause analysis mechanism.
  • Support the Complaints Manager in providing an accurate and insightful complaint data suite and reporting, working with the Complaints Manager, and colleagues in Compliance to identify poor customer outcomes and drive necessary change either at product or functional level.
  • Assist in the support, management and oversight of complaints handled by Coverholders or TPAs with delegated complaints handling
  • Assist with regular checking of complaint data. Updating the Change Request document where new products or schemes are noted.
  • Assist with the development and testing of Respond complaint management system to produce quality complaint MI
  • Assist with complaint data projects

Required Skills/Experience:
Demonstrate a high level of problem solving and the ability to resolve issues.

Ability to manage own workload, prioritising tasks appropriately and ensuring that SLAs are achieved.


Strong interpersonal skills to deal with challenging issues and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people face to face and over the telephone.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Understanding of the importance of Root cause analysis and accurate Complaint data

Adaptable and flexible
