Helpdesk Support - Entry Level


Hours - following a period of training of up to three month, applicants wil move onto a shift pattern of 4 days on (7am-7pm) / 4 days off / 4 nights on (7pm - 7am) and 4 nights off.

A great opportunity to join a well-established IT Solutions company in their 24/7 front-line services tehnical team. The successful applicant will be receive a good remuneration package coupled with on-going skills training and the opportunity to progress


Applicants must have strong PC skills and some basic networking experience/knowledge, coupled with experience of working in a customer support function.

Must be a strong communicator with a with good customer service skills.


The role:

Responsibilities:


  • Event Management opening queries/issues in the ticketing system
  • Managing incoming calls from customers keeping them apprised of any actions taken to resolve issues
  • Liaise with logistics with regards to the dispatch of spares and replacement parts.
  • Manage planned maintenance
  • Organise site engineers when required
  • Liaising with internal departments
  • Work within company SLA's

Experience (Essential):

  • Strong PC Skills
  • Previous service desk experience an advantage
  • Keen to learn and develop
  • Basic networking skills
  • Managed service experience
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate
  • Event Management tool experience
  • Wndows Server, VMWare, Citrix, MS Azure and Office365 experience
