The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time specialist role within the Primary Authority Team of Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service (HIWFRS).
HIWFRS have been the country's leading exponent of Primary Authority since its acceptance into the fire sector in April 2014.
The successful applicant will be expected to work with the senior management teams of these partners, across the UK as a Primary Authority Fire Safety Inspector.
You will be responsible for carrying out premises inspections of new and existing partnership premises for the purposes of trend analysis and compliance with the Fire Safety Order (FSO) and for the ongoing management of a small number of established accounts which will provide background knowledge for future advancement when available.

Applications are invited from self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals to work autonomously with senior managers of large businesses on a national level.
A high level of technical fire safety knowledge will be required when dealing with clients, as will an appreciation of the wider economic and political landscape.
