Description

We are looking to recruit an organised, trustworthy and motivated individual to work as an Accounts Assistant within our accounts & administration team.

Key responsibilities will include:


  • Reconciling Daily Banking and Bank Statement.
  • Purchase Ledger maintenance processing invoices to correct nominal codes, reconciling supplier statements and setting up monthly BACS payment runs.
  • Creating and processing a variety of payments using online banking system.
  • Processing customer refunds through the PDQ machine.
  • Credit control sending statements, chasing debtors including vehicle debt. Producing a weekly debtor report.
  • Processing Warranty Self Billing Invoices.
  • Processing Finance Commission statements.
  • Petty cash control and monthly reconciliation.
  • Processing manufacturer bonus Self Billing Invoices and credit notes.
  • Experience within the motor industry would be advantageous including the use of Kerridge system. However full training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail and a team player.
  • Good IT Skills, particularly MS Office including Excel.

5 hours per week:


  • Salary: Dependent on experience and qualification.
  • 20 days' holiday (pro rata) plus statutory bank holidays.
