    We are in search of a skilled engineering professional with a keen eye for detail and expertise in handling product data.


    Job Title:
    Senior Configuration Engineer

    Salary:
    Circa £42,000 based on experience

    Location:
    Stevenage (Possibility of relocation package)

    Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload arrangement

    Security Clearance:
    British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship
    (Note: Nationality/rights to work restrictions may apply. Successful candidates will undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks post-offer stage, managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team)

    The Role:

    We are seeking a skilled engineering professional with a keen eye for detail and experience in managing product data.

    Leveraging your prior product configuration background, you will collaborate with a close-knit team to offer direct support for key business products.

    You will have the chance to enhance your configuration skills and work towards professional recognition.

    What We Require:
    Experience in Configuration Control or Technical Data Management within Defence, Aerospace, or similar industries.
    Proven ability to interpret technical data and Bills of Materials for intricate product assemblies.

    Familiarity with Configuration Management principles in aerospace or defence settings; adept at creating and handling Configuration Management documents for project governance and control.

    Track record in managing engineering design changes across multiple stakeholders, including presenting changes in change control meetings.

    Capability to conduct supplier audits, ensuring adherence to Configuration Management processes in the supply chain.

    Strong teamwork and communication skills to facilitate collaborative work with peers, functional, and project stakeholders.Precision-oriented and able to maintain integrity in controlling engineering data, drawings, and CAD models.

    Ideally, experience with PTC Windchill as a Product Lifecycle Management tool.
