Description

We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to look after our stores in line with all regulatory, compliance and legal requirements.

Do you have you experience in material receipt within a highly regulated industry, ideally pharmaceuticals / Medical devices / Life science?


If so, we have a great opportunity for a senior stores lead to look after our stores at Glasgow and Newhouse in line with all regulatory, compliance, and legal requirements.

You will be part of a small team and will be working closely with colleagues in operations, supply chain, and manufacturing.

The position is based between Glasgow and Newhouse but mainly at Glasgow.


What you will accomplish together with us:

  • Manage the day to day running of the stores.
  • Manage stock levels to ensure availability of goods for internal customers while minimising stock holding.
  • Understand, interrogate, and manage online storage and procurement system for businesscritical products.
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained.
  • Ensure goods received are receipted and stored in accordance with GxP.
  • Ensure Goods dispatched to other sites are transferred in accordance with GxP.
  • Monitor and manage equipment in the materials department to preserve the integrity of stock.
  • Be always audit ready.
  • Communicate with internal departments to ensure issues are dealt with timeously.
  • Ensure the team's training records are current and all modules are signed off.
  • Manage quality events in a timeous manner when raised.

What will convince us:


  • Good working knowledge of procurement / MRP systems.
  • Stores management experience.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a small team where communication is key to making things work.
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand workload requirements and prioritise accordingly.
  • Capable of working with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in training and coaching
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail and a "Can do" approach is essential.
  • Full clean driving licence essential
