We are looking for a Process Biotechnologist in the dispensary and clean suites to join our team in Nottingham.The site is expanding so it's a great time to join the team to further your career.
The team consists of 4 professionals, and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you.
This position is full-time, based at our site in Nottingham just a short walk from the city centre, train station and tram stop.

- Using raw materials to produce the recipes used to manufacture our products in CNC and clean room grade D, C & B environments, for the production team to use onsite
- Use of relevant manufacturing equipment and equipment maintenance
- Housekeeping, disassembly & washing of equipment and maintain raw material and dispensed recipe stock levels
- Operation of inhouse computer systems and perform daily checks
- Aseptic filling of recombinant human albumin into bioprocess containers | bags with recombinant human albumin fluid
- Perform frequent environmental monitoring of site clean rooms to confirm area quality
- Inoculation, sampling and testing of fermentation cell bank yeast used to manufacture all products on site
- To provide fermentation, purification and final ultrafiltration support to the production team so they have everything required to complete the manufacturing process
- Perform the final formulations on our completed products to meet batch release specifications
- Final product inspection and labelling of all fill finish product vials.
- To support the manufacture of Enhanced Service projects
- Complete all documentation according to SOP's and follow GMP regulations
- Manual handling and physically demanding activities at times (i.e., lifting 25kg bags of salts, sugar and more)
- Following strict procedures to ensure the quality of each product remains the same
- Intercorrelate with other departments and contribute towards project | validation work
- Maintain training records ensuring they are up to date and provide support during audits
- Filter control and integrity testing
