VACANCY
WSD - Process Operator
Hours - 6am-2pm 2pm-10pm 10pm-6am Rotating hours per week
£10.80 p/h rising to £11.40 p/h after 6 months based on performance.

About the role:
The Process Operator will be responsible for the in-feed of product as assigned to them by the co-ordinator. A willingness to learn will see you achieve experience and qualifications that can lead to progression into other roles.

Key Requirements:

  • Carry out relevant checks on assigned products as required by the product quality plan
  • Segregate all nonconforming products (condition of base)
  • Communicate information via the relevant communication channels
  • Alert relevant people to process and product concerns
  • Agree and complete training and development requirements as determined by the shift coordinator and the training plan
  • Safeguard property issued by the company
  • Carry out pad making
  • Ensure condition of base is fit for purpose
  • Feed base in to the foiling line
  • Ensure workplace is clean and tidy all housekeeping procedures followed associated with tasks
  • Transfer the knowledge and skills among the team (others)
  • Undertake reasonable duties as and when required.

Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Basic level of numeracy and literacy.
  • Ability to use a PC to an operational level.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
