Brake Press Setter

Pro1 Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Press Brake Setter to join our dynamic team. If you have a strong background in operating press brake machines and shaping various types of metal, we want to hear from you


Position:
Brake Press Setter


Salary:
£12 per hour

Working Hours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday


Responsibilities:


  • Operate press brake machines to shape different types of metal according to project requirements
  • Inspect blueprints and specifications for each project
  • Set up and prepare the press brake machine for production
  • Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of the machine
  • Inspect metal during the shaping process to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Make necessary adjustments to the machine settings to achieve desired results
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:


  • Previous experience as a Brake Press Setter or similar role
  • Proficiency in operating press brake machines
  • Ability to interpret and understand blueprints and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols
