We have a fabulous opportunity for a
Goods In Team Leader to join a
Asset & Technology Solutions Team based in
Derby


A major branch of their business is their Asset & Technology Team, who provide in-house solutions such as HGVs, tower and crawler cranes, piling equipment, fire and security services, suction excavation, modular buildings and driver risk management.


They are also responsible for the Site Mobilisation Hub which acts as a catalyst for ensuring all of our projects are mobilised with the right plant, fleet and equipment on time and that we always use our in-house services for best value.

You will Supervise the Goods In Department with regards to the booking in, storage, maintenance, and issuing of equipment. Carrying out inspection and maintenance of returning equipment, and providing an efficient and effective service to the internal client.


What you'll be doing

Some other key areas will include:

  • Support the Line Manager in the day to day running of the department
  • Provide excellent customer service through accurate control of stock and administration.
  • Planning, allocating and monitoring workload for staff and ensuring that the
team is working efficiently

  • Ensure all equipment delivered is of the required standard, and has the
correct documentation ∕ certification to meet statutory requirements and our
insurance partner's standards.

  • Carry out equipment testing, calibration & inspection
  • Prepare lifting and other specialist equipment in line with LOLER and
PUWER regulations.

  • Occasional travel to construction sites or suppliers

Who we're looking for
To join us in this role, you will have one or more of the following:

  • Experience of working in a store's environment.
  • The ability to Plan, allocate and monitor workload.
  • Previous Team Leader experience
  • Experience carrying out statutory lifting gear inspections
