Warehouse Operator Job Opportunity in Farnborough

Job Summary:

We are seeking two diligent and versatile Warehouse Operators for a prestigious project in Farnborough, Hampshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team, offering a 12-month contract with the potential for a permanent position.

The role involves a variety of warehouse duties, including stock management, dispatch preparation, and direct support to the warehouse and yard supervisor to ensure efficient operations.

Location: Farnborough, Hampshire, UK

Contract Duration: 12 months (with potential for permanency)

Work Hours: 07:30 to 16:30 (Mon-Thurs) and 07:30 to 12:30 (Fri). Includes two 15-minute tea breaks and a 30-minute lunch break. Opportunity for weekly overtime.

Hourly Rate: £13.50

Role Description:

Your role will be integral to the operations within the warehouse and yard, focusing on:

Efficient goods in/out procedures in line with company policies
Handling stock from vendors, managing inventory, and fulfilling external sales orders
Preparing component kits for production, filling orders, and managing subcontract parts
Assisting in vehicle loading/unloading and processing shipments to customers
Daily cycle counts and basic administrative tasks

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Problemsolving capabilities
A valid counterbalance certificate and driver's license (Forklift license is an advantage)
