Duties:


  • Manage the Data Quality staff to ensure the team meets the data quality requirements of the National Data Standards, Primary Care, Information processes and initiatives
  • Provide data in support of the service agreement process to support short and long term corporate business objectives
  • Report on KPIS/working with the teams to set up KPIs
  • Understand the pathways within the business and provide supporting information to guide service improvement/development
  • Manage mandated data flows and submissions for these work areas
  • Manage 1.5 members of the Performance & Insight team who are dedicated to these work areas
  • Oversea the production of contracting and waiting list returns and datasets, ensuring national deadlines are met
  • Work closely as a senior member of the P&I team with other Business partners and the wider team on data/information that relates to the wider team

Requirements:


  • Experience working in an information environment/role
  • Good knowledge of data flows and data items
  • Proficient in SQL and preferably experience of reporting in SSRS and/or Power BI
  • Management experience
  • Ability to motivate staff
  • Confidence in making decisions that may affect areas outside the department
