Description

Principal Solution Architect (SOC Lead) required to work with a government department. This is an initial 6-month contract, paying up to £1,000 per day, inside IR35, hybrid working (2 days per week onsite in London)


Role overview:


As a Principal Solution Architect, you will develop a strategic solution to provide a SOC of SOC solution that provides real time information for the user community.

Once developed you will need to ensure the solution is embedded into the overall strategic design, supporting contract development as well as change notices.

You will need to engage widely with the Cyber SOC team and the user community to ensure the solution aligns with other strategic initiatives.

You will also have to engage with suppliers to ensure their developments align with the strategic solution.


Main Responsibilities:


  • SOC of SOCs strategic design
  • Deployment strategy and substrategies for SOC of SoC's
  • Design of technical roadmap for SOC
  • Design of threat modelling and key use case/playbooks for SOC

Essential Criteria:


  • SOC design and implementation in complex hybrid environments with multiple suppliers
  • Requirement's definition for contracts
  • Stakeholder engagement and management

Specialist Qualifications and Experience required:


  • SOC / SIEM design experience
  • Tier 3 lead analyst and investigator
  • Play book development
