    Purpose Summary

    The Senior Workday Adaptive Specialist will play a key role in our Financial Planning & Analysis team, focusing on the strategic planning, implementation, and management of the Workday Adaptive Planning platform. This individual will leverage their expertise in financial planning, business analysis, and Workday Adaptive Planning to optimize financial processes, drive data-driven decision-making, and support organizational growth.

    The key areas of responsibility include:

    Workday Adaptive Planning Implementation:

    • Lead the implementation of Workday Adaptive Planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and configure the system to meet organizational needs.
    • Customize and maintain Workday Adaptive Planning models, dashboards, reports, and integrations.


    Financial Analysis and Planning:

    • Drive the development and maintenance of comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
    • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
    • Prepare and deliver financial presentations to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.


    Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the FP&A function and recommend solutions.
    • Streamline financial planning processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and new features within Workday Adaptive Planning.


    Training and Support:

    • Train end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure the effective use of Workday Adaptive Planning.
    • Troubleshoot issues, resolve user inquiries, and maintain documentation


    Collaboration and Communication:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and business operations, to gather requirements and ensure system alignment.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, translating financial insights into actionable recommendations.


    Skills, Experience and Qualifications

    Essential:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Experience as a consultant leading Workday Adaptive Planning implementations.
    • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
    • Proficiency in Workday Adaptive Planning (formerly Adaptive Insights) or similar financial planning software.
    • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data visualization tools.


    Desirable:

    • Certified Workday Adaptive Planning Professional (CWAPP) certification.
    • Experience in a corporate FP&A role.
    • Knowledge of financial accounting principles.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems (Netsuite) and data integration.
