My client is a well established, UK based business who is a market leader in hi-tech manufacturing.

Profitable with a strong, corporate customer base, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced finance professional to join the team due to a recent promotion.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be working as part of a small, loyal and dedicated team.

Your role will be involved in all areas of the business but will be specifically targeted around the manufacturing and costing process and duties will include:

Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts
Lead on weekly and monthly manufacturing reporting and analysis in areas such as costing, efficiency, waste and stock
Assisting in budgeting, forecasting and cashflow forecasting
Working closely with Production and report and analysis KPIs
Monitoring & analysis of R&D spend
General accounting duties such as balance sheet recs and assisting with annual audit
Support in the development of junior finance staff

It is a great, varied role with hybrid working and opportunities for ad hoc projects and a real focus on partnering across the business.

You will be an experienced and proven commercial finance professional with a particular focus on manufacturing & costing.

Your experience and outlook will be more important than your qualification level - but you will need to 'hit the ground running'.
