As part of Ascent Multi-Academy Trust, this vibrant and inclusive SEND school located in Sunderland is looking for a Maths or English Teacher.

They cater to students aged 11-19 with a range of special educational needs, including moderate learning difficulties, autism spectrum conditions, and complex needs.

The school provides high-quality education, tailored to meet the diverse needs of their students, enabling them to achieve their full potential and thrive in society.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 4.30pm and is a long-term position.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Mathematics, English or a related field.
Experience teaching the national curriculum to students with special educational needs is desirable but not essential.
