MBA is collaborating with a top-tier insurance company in the search for a skilled Cargo Claims Surveyor.
The client is a major player in the industry known for its client-focused approach to claims management, innovative practices, and leadership.
This role is remote with occasional travel requirements (company car provided), ideally suited for candidates located in the north of the UK.

Responsibilities include:
Surveying all claims involving the transportation of goods by land, sea, car, train, boat, or ship.
Conducting surveys across the UK, coordinating with clients and other surveyors for cargo movement by various means of transport.
Documenting all necessary information for claim progression and preserving relevant evidence.
Writing reports and communicating with clients.
Adjusting claims by compiling evidence and determining amounts.
Handling and adjusting claims in the field, assessing liability and amounts based on documentation, and providing recommendations to clients.
Seeking candidates with a background in claims handling or logistics, prior experience with cargo claims is desirable.
Understanding of the insurance claims process and its relationship to the role.
Proficiency in IT, specifically MS Office.
