Our FMCG client based in the Boston area are recruiting a Head of Warehousing on a full-time permanent basis. This is a brand-new role for the business due to a restructure due to significant company growth.

This role will manage a team of 60 plus employees and be fully responsible for all goods in, picked and packed and then all goods out.

The operation is 6 days per week 24/7.

Job Role:

Responsible for all warehouse operational departments/functions
Management of a sizeable team
Driving continuous improvement within those areas
Maximise accuracy, productivity and space utilisation
Ensure that training is ongoing
Effectively manage the workload and manning levels within agreed overall costs
Support the labour planning function with input into ensuring cost effectiveness along with operations requirements
Focus on costs ensuring overspend and surplus costs are managed with scrutiny

In a nutshell this is a busy warehouse role where you will add value to the business.

To be considered for this role you will have worked in a senior warehouse position and managed a sizeable team.

The company are offering an attractive salary plus 34 days holiday.
