Production Engineer - Days

They have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Engineer to ensure the proper manufacture and quality of the finished product.

Reporting to the Operations Manager your key responsibility will be to drive product quality by understanding the build, testing and inspection.

Monitoring product quality throughout the full production process

• Investigation of any product quality issues
• Product quality audits
• Supporting production to meet customer deadlines and target outputs.
• Extracting raw data, analyse and generate reports.

The Production Engineer appointed to this role will be educated to a minimum ONC in an Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical engineering discipline and experience (preferably in the Rail industry) in a similar role

A working knowledge of Electrical / Electronic Design, System Design and System Integration as well as Railway standards (such as EN50155, EN50121 EN50126/8/9) would be advantageous.

In return, the successful Production Engineer will receive a competitive salary of up to £49,000 (dependent upon experience), a flexible benefits package that includes a contributory pension scheme and 33 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays) and life assurance.
