STORES / STOCK PERSON
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and trustworthy Stores / Stock Person to join our busy team.


This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to develop their stock management skills, working with us to set up an efficient and streamlined approach to all things stock.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will manage and take full control of our stock management to include being fully involved in making improvement recommendations.


Duties to include

  • Taking delivery of new stock, which may include unloading delivery vehicles.
  • Checking that the stock matches the delivery sheet and that it is not damaged.
  • Logging the delivery on to a computer system.
  • Making sure stock is stored in the correct place and in the right conditions.
  • Keeping the various stock cabins across the site in good order and well stocked:
  • Cleaning and tidying the stock areas and making sure there are no health and safety hazards.
  • Checking stock levels, tracking orders and carrying out stock checks on a regular basis.
  • Replenishing stock in various outlets across the site as needed.

Required Experience, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Physically fit due to the size and location of the site
  • Full UK Driving Licence and transportation.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good administration and IT system experience.
  • Passionate about logistics and stock inventory.
  • Attention to detail.

Salary:
£20,319.00-£21,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dorset, BH20 6HH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
