  • Arrange interviews with the Foundation's spokespeople and liaise with journalists throughout the process.
  • Support the Media Executive on gathering information from teams and compile briefing documents for spokespeople.
  • Maintain up to date and accurate records of media inquiries and interactions; capturing all necessary details on both our CRM (Salesforce) and media tracker.
  • Assist the Media Executive on researching journalist's profiles and updating the Foundation's media list accordingly.
  • Support the organising and running of media events.
  • Provide the Media Manager with support on an adhoc basis

Your profile

  • A media or communications related degree would be preferred, but not essential.
  • Experience in a communications role or agency would be desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with evidence of ability to work on a number of different tasks simultaneously and delivering against deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and good time management.
  • Relationship management experience.
  • Ability to communicate the thinking behind the circular economy and a willingness to develop knowledge in this area would be a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google workspace.
  • The ability to work autonomously.

What we do The Ellen MacArthur Foundation develops and promotes the idea of a circular economy. We work with, and inspire, business, academia, policymakers, and institutions to mobilise systems solutions at scale, globally. Our mission is to accelerate the transition to a circular economy.

Our vision is a new economic system that delivers better outcomes for people and the environment.

Business models, products, and materials are designed to increase use and reuse, replicating the balance of the natural world, where nothing becomes waste and everything has value.

A circular economy, increasingly built on renewable energy and materials, is distributed, diverse, and inclusive.
