Job description

  • About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to explore and address the links between poor housing and health, relating to damp and mould.

Using data analytics and community consultation the postholder will develop a pathway for professionals, residents, and landlords to tackle damp and mould concerns and identify the likelihood of the issue reoccurring.

Developing links with the respiratory virtual ward and mental health services operating in the borough will highlight where housing conditions are a contributing factor to ill-health.

To finalise the pilot project, a blueprint will be developed to aid shared learning and future interventions.

This project is funded by the West Kent Health and Care Partnership.

About You:

You will have experience of working in a housing or health-related field with knowledge of the health effects of living in poor housing conditions.

You must be able to work collectively with internal and external teams to improve housing standards across the borough and reduce avoidable attendances at GP and/or A&E.

Additionally, you must have the required skills to collect, interpret, monitor, and evaluate data to present to audiences.
