- Communicate with patients, carers, professional colleagues and the voluntary and charitable sector to ensure seamless care is achieved. Ensure documentation and records are maintained in accordance with Trust policy.
- Communicate with patients regarding sensitive situations and conditions which may include safeguarding aspects.

We have developed our workforce plan and we are pleased to have created posts for qualified nurses associates who have an interest in working with individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism. The Brooklands site supports individuals who may be detained in wards for adults, children and those with forensic needs. All teams have a full MDT and opportunities to develop skills unique to an inpatient learning disability site and secure/forensic services.
This post is for qualified Nurse Associates Only or Student Nurse Associates who qualify in 2024.
Experience in working or a committed interest in a career in Learning Disability and Autism nursing is essential.
CWPT has pathways for Nurse Associates to further develop and access the Registered Nurse Degree apprentice course.
