An exciting opportunity has arisen at our Crewe Manufacturing Facility for a full time (38 hours per week) Painter and Tester to join our team.


Main Purpose of the Role
Adherence to on time delivery dates, support right first time quality approach and process control.

To support and drive process improvements within Assembly & Test area as well as the continuous improvement activities across the area to achieve maximum effectiveness in the supply of pumps, on time and within pre-determined financial parameters.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Read technical drawings and build in line with current company build procedures
  • Inspections of work to ensure quality of work is to company standard
  • Testing pumps inline with company standards as and when required
  • Paint and prep in line with company standards as and when required
  • Preparing final product for pre delivery inspection

Essential skills:


  • Experience on an assembly line
  • Painting Experience inline with ISO9001 standards
  • Lean & 5s experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Team Player
  • A flexible approach to work
  • Technical knowhow and proficiency.
  • Consistency in achieving set tasks and multi tasking.
  • Adapting to change, willingness to learn
  • Ability to communicate at all levels (both verbal and written)
  • Prioritisation
  • Continuous improvement experience
