Description

Our client in the industrial sector is looking to recruit an experienced HR Manager/HR Business partner for a full time or part-time hybrid role.

Part of the Senior Management team you will report directly into the Managing Director and have responsibilityfor 1 direct report.


Role Responsibilities

  • Ensures effective processes for the essential tasks of HR
  • Overview of the demographics of the departments and focus on associated succession planning
  • Responsible for recruiting and ensures that onboarding and offboarding processes are adhered to and improved regularly
  • Arranges the induction of new employees
  • Prepare personal correspondence (contracts, references, etc)
  • Advise on parent group policy and UK regulations
  • Working closely senior managers in different departments
  • Supports managers as a communicator and sparring partner
  • Coordinates requirement profiles for new positions with the departments
  • Designs and monitors internal HR change processes
  • Supports the design of important HR processes and key figures
  • Supports and organises initiatives for staff retention
  • Work with the management team on initiatives to raise the profile of the business in the local area

Person Specification

  • Minimum of 5+ years generalist HR experience
  • Facilitate coaching and development support for Departmental Managers to improve their skills in managing staff.
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Hands on with a cando attitude
  • Ability to influence across all levels
