Security Lead | SecOps / DevSecOps on AWS & MSFT Business Systems | 100% Remote This is a chance to work for an online marketplace that is backed by one of the globe's most recognisable and influential media giants.

The company has offices all over the world with circa 700 employees.

You will be part of a global technology team of circa 150 people, 10 of whom are in London (working remotely) along with the Global CTO who you will be reporting to.

You will be the first SecOps engineer to join the company and you will be in a very senior role, hence reporting directly to the CTO.

Your day-to-day role will look like:50% SecOps / DevSecOps and DevOps work inside their global AWS platform.40% Security for the business Ops i.e.

Microsoft Entra, securing company devices, SSO policy and using tools like OKTA etc.10% Governance within security.

Our client has a legal department but not a compliance department so you will have to get involved here e.g.

GDPR technical issues etc.

You will be joining a relatively greenfield environment from a security perspective and will be responsible for establishing security best practices and making this area 'your baby'.

The environment is entirely cloud-based there's no physical infrastructure.

Tech stack you will be owning from a security perspective:
AWS (Our client's core platform is hosted here)

Microsoft; Entra, Office365 (E5), IntuneSalesforceSSO (Okta)A few examples of duties in this role:
Make sure all the IT estate is fully secure and that the organisation is following best practices.

Establishing a SOCEstablish an incident management processDR policy and proceduresRun security forums, and governance, define onboarding processes and have a view on data onboarding protection and GDPR.Web operations, review user journeysNo established policies exist so these will need to be created This is a varied role but a really exciting one as you will have so much autonomy and influence to establish this company's security process.
