    Description

    Work with the Best as an Excavator Machine Operator!

    2020 Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent national engineering firm, who is seeking to onboard an Excavator Machine Operator to their Methil team. This exciting opportunity offers an initial 6-month contract position with the possibility of offshore travel.

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Operate Excavator
    • Ensure optimal communication with team members and cordoning off the work area
    • Validate the presence of PTW (Permit to Work)
    • Verify excavator's safe deck capacity areas and reinforce when necessary
    • Maintain excellent housekeeping practices
    • Participate actively in Toolbox Talk Meetings and tool risk assessments
    • Report any Near Misses and Incidents when necessary
    • Contribute to planning activities involving the excavator

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in a similar capacity
    • Adequate training based on LOLER Regulations 1998
    • Possession of VHF certificate and CPCS Card
