    Position profile

    As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role within the transactional finance, with aspects of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and payroll being part of the successful candidate duties. Payroll experience is not essential as training will be provided. You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties:

    • Processing both Sales & Purchase ledger
    • Payment runs
    • Reconciling supplier statements
    • Posting cash receipts
    • Assisting with weekly payroll
    • Answering any payroll queries
    • Producing ledger reports
    • Dealing with queries
    • Management of finance mailbox

    Person specification

    The business is keen to speak to individuals with the following profile:

    • Experience working within a Finance Assistant/Account Assistant role with exposure to both AP & AR
    • Strong excel skills – vLookups / Pivot Tables
    • Strong communicator and a self-starter
