Desktop Support Analyst (Hybrid working)

  • Salary:DOE
  • Monday to Friday
  • Hybrid Working (3 days WFH / 2 days in the office)
  • 9am5pm
  • 37.5 hours per week
Our client is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to join their Milton Keynes based Marketing team.


As a Desktop Support Analyst in our IT team, you will be playing an important role by supporting all employees with all their IT requirements.

This is a varied role and will give you exposure to different technologies with scope to learn and develop.

  • Providing 1st and 2nd line support to users in 3 offices and remote users
  • Engaging with 3rd line support to resolve issues and develop knowledge and skills
  • Actively participating in other team meetings to determine how IT can proactively make positive changes
  • Participating in weekly IT meetings and suggesting ways to improve the way we work
  • Travelling to the London Office on a rota and adhoc basis to provide IT support
  • Maintaining and prioritising support calls using a service desk solution
  • Working with users to find the best solution rather than just fix the problem
  • Following and improving on existing processes such as setting up new joiners
  • Provisioning Desktops, Laptops and MacBooks
  • Collaborating with third party vendors to resolve complex issues

  • Is genuinely interested in IT and aims to improving their own and other's working environment
  • Has the confidence to challenge ideas and ask questions of peers & management
  • Has good knowledge of Windows Server 2012 / 2016 / 2019 including Active Directory and Group Policy Management
  • Has excellent knowledge of Windows 10
  • Is knowledgeable with Microsoft Office 36
  • Has worked with Avaya Phone System (or similar)
  • Enjoys working to targets and naturally strives to exceed them
  • Is a team player and can work with teams & people at all levels
  • Picks up new skills quickly and shares information with peers
  • Takes ownership of tasks and works until completion
