Vacant Job Position:
Estimator

Role Profile:

The role is to understand customers' needs and requirements and to execute high-quality, accurate and detailed job costing estimates in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce accurate request for quotations from the receipt of enquiry in line with the required profit margins of the business plan.

Communicate with customer regarding any specific requirements and ensure that any communication with the customer is documented

Ensure all required information is entered on Hubspot CRM system and that it is accurate

Ensure all customer needs are met and they receive a quality service for prices and technical information.

Conduct quote follow up calls and using negotiating skills to convert orders.

Meet set deadlines in returning prices to our customers.

Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team in identifying and securing new opportunities

Strengthen our reputation in the market through positive customer experiences

Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes:

Proven experience as an Estimator in the sheet metal / fabrication industry, with a focus on fabrication / laser & fold.
Be able to prepare and issue RFQ packages and analyse returned quotations from a commercial and technical viewpoint
Good contractual acumen and experienced in the production of fixed price, target cost and reimbursable estimates
Good arithmetic & computer skills
Outlook, Excel, Oseon (Tru Tops Fab)
Ability to read engineering drawings
Selfmotivated and focused, with a flexible attitude
Good attention to detail, with high levels of accuracy & a commitment to quality
Able to work on & use own initiative & problem solve
Demonstrate a professional & courteous attitude
Act with integrity & honesty
