Are you seeking a new role?


Ashley Kate are delighted to be working with a UK based utilities company as they look to recruit a Full Time, permanent HR Advisor.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional, looking to make the next step in their career.

The salary for this role will be up to £40k plus a company car and additional benefits

Travel to the Enfield (North London) site will be required on a weekly basis.


The role:

  • Proactively support the allocated business to deliver its People Plan
  • Champion the culture of service delivery to the allocated business focusing on commercial solutions, fair decision making and enabling the businesses to operate effectively
  • Manage the case management (disciplinaries, grievances and appeals) processes within the allocated business
  • Manage the event management (TUPE, reorganisations) processes within the allocated business
  • Coordinate recruitment within the allocated business
  • Work with the central Technical Administration Team to make sure that the allocated business is fully compliant
  • Support the regular deliver of supervisory and management training
  • Implement "best practice" policies

About you:

  • You will have worked in the infrastructure services/construction/support services/ utility industry or similar for a multi site, site based business
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent HR customer service with pace, accuracy and acumen
  • Commercially biased is able to see where HR can add value to the business
  • Experienced in managing varied case work
  • Proven track record of developing effective working relationships internally and externally
  • Excellent IT/letter writing/communication skills
  • Has boundless enthusiasm, dynamism and a sense of humour
  • Is organised and a completer finisher
  • Loves people and HR
  • Able to work flexibly across a nationwide business, requiring some travel and overnight stays
  • CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development ) qualified
