What will you be doing?
As a key member of the team, the Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting, packing and preparing electronic goods ready for UK/International shipment
  • Generating UK and International shipping documentation (commercial invoices, delivery notes, air waybills)
  • Working with express package couriers & international shipping companies, to book and schedule shipments and see them through to successful and timely delivery
  • Support export licence conrol record keeping practices, for shipments of export conrolled goods

What makes a successful Shipping Coordinator at DTC?

  • A minimum of 1 years' experience in inspecting, packing and preparing goods ready for UK / International shipment
  • Experience with UK Customs practices/procedures and an understanding of international trade documentation (Certificates of Origin, ATA-Carnets, EUR1s) is desirable
  • Familiarity with business ERP/MRP systems
  • Keen eye for detail, and can demonstrate a consistently high level of accuracy, in accordance with compliancy requirements
  • Clear strength in planning, scheduling and delivering goods on time
  • Team player who is willing to go above and beyond for the good of the customer and the company
