Senior Finance Business Partner at Innovative Engineering and Manufacturing Company

The Company

Wade Macdonald is currently hiring for a dynamic and rapidly expanding engineering and manufacturing company situated in South Oxfordshire. They are seeking a skilled Finance Business Partner who is commercially savvy.

The Role

This position involves supporting the commercial goals of the organization and collaborating closely with functional Directors to provide analysis, insights, and decision-making support. As a respected partner, you will assist, influence, and challenge business unit managers, directors, and the C-suite. Please note that this is a full-time onsite role.

As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will:

Identify financial opportunities and risks through in-depth integration into your areas of responsibility
Assist managers with budget adherence and conduct regular finance reviews with department heads
Collaborate with stakeholders on budget preparation, rolling forecasts, and business cases
Maximize the value of spending and ROI
Proactively engage with stakeholders to drive improvements
Support new business and customer proposals
Provide training to enhance stakeholders' financial acumen
Create financial reporting specifications and ensure stakeholder comprehension
Track KPIs for performance measurement and improvement identification
Review P&Ls, track projects, and support audits and compliance
Ensure data quality and support strategic change and process improvement
Identify opportunities for reporting and metric enhancements

What will you need to succeed?

Minimum of 6 years leading FP&A teams and 5 years in Business Partnering

Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA)

Proficiency in Excel is crucial, experience with Power BI is advantageous
