A Primary and Key Stage 3 Special School located in the eastern area of Birmingham. The school is dedicated to providing quality education to children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The students come from across Birmingham and some other neighbouring local authorities. We aim to create a positive learning environment that fosters the academic and social development of our students.

Responsibilities:

Help students to develop their social and emotional skills.
Support the teacher in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
Attend meetings and training sessions as required.

Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
Knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience working in a secondary school environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and support the teacher in delivering lessons.
A patient and flexible approach to working with students with SEMH needs.
Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

Contract Type:
Full-time.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary:
£80.00 per day
