Description

We are currently looking for Home Tutors to join our team immediately in the Erdington and surrounding area. As a Home Tutor, you will be responsible for supporting pupils who are not in mainstream education.

The role involves working with children with a range of special educational needs (SEN) or looked after children and requires knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver tailored learning to meet the individual child's needs.
Provide academic support to students with SEN needs/EHCP's.
Support children with emotional and behavioural difficulties
Provide regular feedback to parents, teachers, and social workers on the child's progress.
Work with children on a onetoone basis or in small groups

Requirements:

Prior experience supporting students with SEN needs/EHCP's in a school setting or tutoring position is required.
Knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum.
Ability to plan and deliver learning tailored to meet the individual child's needs.
Passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

We offer a flexible role, allowing you to work part-time or full-time, with planning and preparation time of 1-2 hours per student.

A DBS check will be required.
