    Description

    Join a leading steel fabrication specialist business, operating in Project Management, Design, Fabrication, and Erection across industries like Petrochemical, Process, Pharmaceutical, and Nuclear.

    We're in the heart of Thirsk and are seeking a QA/QC Engineer to contribute to our exciting growth.

    Who this job suits:
    nThis role is ideal for an experienced

    Quality Engineer

    with a meticulous eye for detail, analytical skills, and prior exposure to large, complex, multi-disciplined projects in regulated environments. Your knowledge of Welding,

    ISO 3834 & EN 1090

    will be high advantageous.

    Key Responsibilities:

    nLiaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project inspections and technical requirements are met.nEnsure compliance to ISO 3834, EN 1090, ISO 9001.nCollate and analyse data, support audits, and liaise with clients.nUtilize extensive hands-on experience in Quality Management Systems and Principles.nPossess recognized auditing qualification.nInterpret and accept contract NDT reports on behalf of the business.


    Skills and Experience:
    nProven Quality experience within Heavy Fabrication or Nuclear environmentnCSWIP certified desirable but not essentialnKnowledge of ISO 3834 (welding inspection) and/or EN 1090 advantageousnExperience with LTQRs advantageous

    £40k - £45k (dependent on experience)nHours:
    37.5 hours per week – 16:45 Monday - Thursday, :00 Friday
