  • Hybrid working (3 days per week in the office)
  • Salary circa 36,000
  • 12 months (Maternity cover)
  • Near Epsom, Surrey (due to location own transport is beneficial)

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our Global Automotive client and be part of their People team. You will play an important role supporting the People team to deliver training and development coordination to internal stakeholders across the business, being involved in projects with an opportunity to develop and take on more responsibilities


Responsibilities:

You'll be providing administrative support to the Manager, Talent and Learning Development supporting all training & development initiatives. You will also be involved in wider HR related projects including Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and general HR operations.


Learning & Development

  • Coordinate & Manage processes for all training portals including GDPR, Truth-Teller, Facet
  • Running reports from HR database and other data sources to spot any training needs, supporting the business with their development.
  • Being the key contact for employee training requests, including arranging the logistics efficiently for inhouse and virtual training and liaising with external providers.
  • Working with all People Business Partners to support the development needs of their business areas.
  • Ensuring that all training is evaluated and provide the People Business Partner with summary of findings and trends.
  • To maintain training records through the use of Microsoft SharePoint and the effective use of an Excel database

Producing management information re:
outstanding training needs, course take-up and cancellation patterns.

  • Creating & following training processes to ensure courses run effectively.
  • Maintaining the training and development budget on an ongoing basis by raising purchase orders and keeping track of all training costs throughout the financial year
  • Plan and work with a calendar of communications for training and development and work ahead to establish key events or training dates.
  • Advising on all learning and development queries from both TGB employees and contractors, following the separate processes for each
  • Coordinating the quarterly Corporate Induction and visits for factory tours
  • Processing Professional Sponsorship requests
  • Processing and approving Fund for a Better You requests based on our company policy and processing through payroll.

Wellbeing Support

  • Establish and embed a yearly wellbeing calendar, aligned with the business counter parts.
  • Create wellbeing communications to publish via InTouch (company intranet)
  • Support new wellbeing initiatives, including the research, ideation, communication and roll out of new initiatives.
  • Maintain communication and qualifications of our Mental Health First Aiders
  • Ensuring all employees have attended Wellbeing training.

DE&I Support

  • Establish and embed a yearly Diversity, Equity & Inclusion calendar, aligned with the business.
  • Work with the business entities on key DE&I events, attending monthly planning meetings.
  • Create DE&I communications to publish via InTouch.

Other

  • Event Planning for Seasonal Activity (e.g. Christmas Party)
  • Recruitment support for Emerging Talent Assessment Centres
  • Assisting with policy & process reviews, for L&D and wider business activities
  • Creating Standard Operating Procedures for new business processes
  • Updating the People Team handbook as necessary, particularly with L&D activities
  • Providing support as notetaker in investigations, disciplinaries and other confidential meetings
  • Supporting with the administration and coordination of the People Review Process
  • Keeping Career & Development, Wellbeing, Diversity, and Inclusion pages up to date on company Intranet (InTouch/SharePoint)
  • Supporting annual and adhoc team processes, including but not limited to; engagement surveys, Countdown to Christmas.
